Welcome to MABUHAY NURSING HOME

We provide senior citizens with excellent care. Nurses and caregivers are on duty 24 hours.

Mabuhay Nursing Home is a home care center for elderly individuals in need of nursing who have dementia or another associated ailment. It began operations in 2012. Its locations are in Central and Western Visayas.

What are the services we offer?

Long-term care

We provide high quality care and services for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities due to chronic illnesses, disabilities, or aging. The nursing home offers a variety of services, including skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapy (physical, occupational, and speech), medication management, wound care, and social and recreational activities.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Mabuhay Nursing Home also provides specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The nursing home's staff is highly trained and experienced, and they strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for residents. Mabuhay Nursing Home is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care that meets the unique needs of each resident.

Rehabilitation/
Stroke Patients Short Term Care

The goal of short-term care is to provide intensive therapy and support for a limited period of time, with the understanding that the individual will eventually transition to a different type of care, such as long-term care or home care. Short-term care can be an important step in the recovery process, as it allows individuals to receive the specialized care and support they need to regain their strength and independence. However, it's also important to consider long-term care planning, as many individuals who have experienced a stroke or other serious injury may require ongoing care and assistance in the future.

Palliative Care

The goal of palliative care is to help individuals and their families cope with the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges of serious illness, and to ensure that their needs are met with dignity and respect. Palliative care can be provided in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and at home. The palliative care team may include physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals, all of whom work together to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.

Impatient Behavioral and Mental Health Care

This type of care is important because hospitalization can be a stressful and overwhelming experience, and many patients may experience anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns as a result. Impatient behavioral and mental health care aims to help patients cope with the emotional and psychological challenges of hospitalization, and to promote their overall well-being and recovery. This may involve a variety of interventions, such as individual and group therapy, medication management, relaxation techniques, and support groups. The goal of impatient behavioral and mental health care is to help patients manage their symptoms, improve their coping skills, and enhance their overall quality of life, both during their hospital stay and after they are discharged.

Assisted Living or Residential Care

Assisted living or residential care refers to a type of long-term care designed to provide seniors with the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life, while also receiving assistance with daily activities. Assisted living communities typically offer a range of services, including meals, housekeeping, transportation, and social and recreational activities. Residents may also have access to healthcare services, such as medication management, nursing care, and therapy. The goal of assisted living or residential care is to help seniors age in place, with dignity and independence, while also providing them with the support and resources they need to manage their health and well-being. These communities can be a good option for seniors who require some level of assistance, but who do not need the intensive medical care provided in a nursing home.
